Billing & Plans

Plans are scoped to organizations. Each organization has its own subscription, allowing you to manage billing separately for different teams or projects.

Monthly: $15/month | Annual: $12.50/month ($150/year)

  • 15,000 words per month included
  • Manual text/document input
  • Basic translation features
  • Overages billed per unit when quota is exceeded

Best for: Individuals and small teams getting started with translation.

Monthly: $45/month | Annual: $37.50/month ($450/year)

  • All Text Standard features, plus:
  • 45,000 words per month included
  • Glossaries: Create and use term glossaries
  • API access: Integrate translations via REST API
  • Extended document formats
  • Overages billed per unit when quota is exceeded

Best for: Growing teams needing glossaries and API integration.

Monthly: $75/month | Annual: $62.50/month ($750/year)

  • All Text Pro features, plus:
  • 75,000 words per month included
  • Personal account manager
  • Custom integrations
  • Priority support
  • Overages billed per unit when quota is exceeded

Best for: Large organizations with complex localization needs.

  1. Navigate to Plans (under Organization in the sidebar, Owner access only).
  2. Review available plans and their features.
  3. Select Monthly or Annual billing frequency.
  4. Click Get started or Upgrade on your desired plan.
  5. Complete the checkout process via Stripe.
  6. Your new plan activates immediately or at the start of the next billing cycle (depending on timing).
  1. Go to Plans or Billing section.
  2. Your current plan is highlighted and marked as “Current plan”.
  3. View your monthly/annual billing frequency.
  4. Check your usage against your monthly quota.
  • Word limits: Each plan includes a monthly word quota for translations.
  • Overage billing: Usage beyond your quota is billed on a metered basis.
  • Monitoring: Track your usage in the dashboard to avoid unexpected charges.
  • Reset period: Quotas reset monthly based on your billing cycle.

Choose between:

  • Monthly billing: Pay month-to-month with flexibility
  • Annual billing: Save ~17% with yearly subscription

You can change billing frequency when upgrading or renewing.

  • Payment is handled securely through Stripe.
  • Supported payment methods include major credit cards.
  • Update your payment method anytime in the billing settings.
  • Failed payments may suspend service until resolved.
  • Access: View and download invoices from the Billing section.
  • Format: Invoices are available as PDFs.
  • History: All past invoices are retained for your records.
  • Email notifications: Receive email confirmations for payments and invoices.
  • Each organization maintains its own subscription and billing.
  • Switch organizations to view their respective billing information.
  • Team members with Owner role can manage billing for their organization.
  • Separate billing allows different teams to use different plans as needed.

  3. Plan ahead: Upgrade before hitting quota limits to avoid overage charges.
